ok, i have a teenage daughter, shes 15 and im starting to think shes the devil incarnate shes the most frustrating human being i have ever met, are all teens the same i ask myself are other mums going through the same hell as i am??? well i know that of course they are after all my mother did with me and back in the day ( not so long ago) i raged at my mum stamped my foot demanded to be allowed out after being caught smoking and believe me in my mind at the time of course my mum was evil and i was being punished for doing nothing wrong and yes leaving home was always on my mind, i remember my mum saying to me "one day you will have a daughter and she will be just like you" yeah right, i scoffed at the idea the any child of mine would ever be anything but an angel and then it happened i had an angelic daughter ......until she turned 9 then it started, she woke up one morning like regan from the exorcist,i had the sulking and strops, temper tantrums galore, now i have to deal with boyfriends and hating school. i guess my mums words came true only my child is worse ohh my god if i ever dared to shout at my mum she would slap that sulk right of my face, i do have other children and i thank the lord almighty that they are boys lol at least i know what to expect from them.so now i sit alone after my kids go to bed and think why me? what have i done to deserve this? and i think i know what the answer is....teenage daughters are sent to test us plain and simple, i figure that if i can survive the next 5 years till she either leaves home or turns back into my loving daughter then im guaranteed a place in heaven. i wonder how many mums or dads for that matter would agree with me :)

How funny!
Kids test us more than we ever thought imaginable.
Keep your chin up - time flies.
