| christmas is coming and i cant wait

only 56 days to go then its christmas woohooo, i love christmas and i am fed up with people moaning about it, christmas is a time for family its a time when you can just enjoy being with eachother, i love the feeling christmas gives me i actually enjoy christmas shopping and seeing the displays that appear at christmas, whats not to love? why is it that everywhere i go i hear people saying how much they dread it? of course i know its because christmas has become very commercial with everyone worrying about money and how to pay for everything and i understand that, i too worry about the cost but shouldnt this time of year be about the kids and the spirit of christmas, ive noticed in recent years how many schools no longer put on a nativity saying that its now un p.c to let our kids dress up like angels and celebrate the birth of christ. it frustrates me so much and my children are fortunate that their school celebrates the season of goodwill it also celebrates eid, ramadan and the chinese new year which is as it should be, everyones beliefs and religions equal. local councils ban xmas lights in streets or say they should be renamed winterfun decorations omg what a load of bul***t they (councils) should wake up and smell the coffee its people like them that take the fun out of christmas, whats wrong with a few lights, carol singers and a nativity? wheres the offense? i wish we could all have christmas cheer and enjoy it for what its really about its a time for peace and family its not an offensive time of year maybe its time to stop this political correct nonsense and just have fun.

Oooo and they are taken away 'Merry Christmas'...and replaced it with 'Happy Holidays'...what is this world comin' too...*shakes head*
