| WHAT HAS MANKIND BECOME? |
Since the beginning of time mankind has always been divided into two categories, the believers and the non-believers. Both parties have always felt that they were right in feeling the way that they did. Gee! is that really the beginning of time or is that nowadays? As they say some things never change.
Having participated in so many threads lately as well as initiating a few myself, I have come to realize that since the very beginning of time mankind has not grown at all emotionally and on so many levels even intellectually.
There has been so much money and effort put into technology and science yet we are a greater nation of emotional instability and depression than ever before. The suicide rate has never been higher than it is today.
The divorce rate is rising all the time and the institution once known as "family" is rapidly deteriorating becoming practically non-existent. Crime is at all time high and the homeless people have now formed their own "tent cities".
Our children and grandchildren are quickly becoming desenthesized to all that is violent and horrific in society due to our modern day technology known as "satanic video games". They no longer have respect for any authority, they are raising their parents instead of the other way around.
Road rage, date rape, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, cutting, etc. etc. etc. is the only world our children and grandchildren know. Bringing guns to school and severely beating fellow classmates just for the fun of it, is part of their daily routine. There is so much divorce and the parents try so hard to outdo one another
that both spoil the child(ren) to no end making them self-centered and always wanting for more.
The poor children are so confused being tossed from house to house (2 totally different sets of rules usually) and asked to accept/respect any and all adults presently sleeping with their parents. They are asked all the time to sacrifice quality time with a biological parent to share that time with a total stranger (mom or dad's new fling) who takes them away from the person they need the most, their parent. Who could care less about them than the man in the moon. Who is only there to satisfy their sexual desires.
The child(ren) so lost and confused and crying for direction in their lives now becomes rebellious and a threat to themselves and everyone else they encounter.The child then goes to CCD mom takes them and then goes back home to hop back in bed with the stranger who is part of the problem to begin with. Mom too has sexual desires that drive her to favor the stranger over her own flesh and blood.
I could go on and on and on but I think you get the picture. Mankind has evolved alright into a nation of self-destruction in every sense of the word. The more it screws up because of all of the greed, envy, pride self-centeredness, selfishness, etc. etc. that it is consumed with, the more it blames God for its world in turmoil. The more it refuses to believe God created them, the more it rebels bringing on even more self-destruction or it realizes how much they need Him to survive thusly the main difference between the believers and non-believers.
