I don't have friends. Truly things are better off this way because I consider myself sort of an insensitive person--perhaps somewhat like Obama is coming across as right now. I'm going to play the race card so don't ya'll get all your wigs in a frizz....but it might just be that the majority of "us" folks are a bit insensitive by nature. It's who we are, and because of that, people of other races are instantly turned off. I'm sorry about it, but it's something that really can't be changed about people's inner workings. You see, most of the time, when I do attempt to go out on a limb and do the compassion thing, I'm taken as being fake, and I agree with those who might see me as being fake in those instances. Now that I've played the race card, I might as well go on to say that I believe white folks...especially guys...are probably just as insensitive as the black ones. It's just that the white guys seem to enjoy designing and building stuff much more, which makes them seem like they're awfully caring about people, when in fact they are simply just doing what they enjoy. Someone, please go figure this stuff for me. My head hurts now.
