 Better!
Whew! Today went rather well. After a round of calls yesterday, Jess went in and spoke with the Director of Financial Aid. She wrote out an appeal, and the director emailed a committee of people with Jess' info...they approved the appeal within a few hours. So, she still gets her aid (which will take about a week longer than we anticipated, but that's fine with us!), and she's still in summer classes. Yeah! It was a long, exhausting, emotionally-distressing day, but we managed. We just need a letter from our father to turn in, even though it was approved, to keep her from losing it again (about a major surgery he had recently).
*Skipping* Yahoo! We're so happy now. We're still waiting to hear about mine, though, which is another kettle of fish altogether, but at least she has it for bills and such.
What else?
Hmm.
I had a very odd dream last night. My other sister, Melinda, was here with her husband and son. We were driving around in her car, and we found a tree full of ripe, HUGE lemons that we were trying to pick while her husband laughed. We also watched the fog and mist on the river late at night. We were having such a good time. According to the dream interpretation book, it's a good sign...which it was. So were all three tarot readings I did last night. I think Jess is a believer now!
It just finished storming here...thunder, lightning, and LOTS of heavy rain. *sigh* It was so beautiful! The air is nice and cool now, and it feels great. We actually have our windows open. :)
Well, I'm off. I took a nap (I didn't sleep hardly at all last night), and my eyes are feeling distinclty...fuzzy.
Talk to you guys tomorrow!
