 Forbidden Love
Your fingers slide down the slick glass, the friction being the only way you know it’s there. A wall of glass, it’s what you have come to realize it to be…the only thing stopping you from that beautiful person on the other side. You look back in your room, seeing everyone you know, everyone you have ever been able to touch, feel, smell. Its all right there, in your little cube. You ponder then, why this mystic on the other side draws your eyes so deeply. You know, deep down inside, that she could get up and walk away any time she please. But yet you stay, and stare at her through the glass…and she smiles back. It’s a touch less love, one of understanding towards each other, one of feeling towards eachother. Somehow you know you understand her more deeply then anyone she has ever felt. Somehow, you know she feels the same way about you. There is a chance, a small break in the window…but it only appears once in every while. You wish it came sooner. How you long to really show her how much you care, to show her how gentle she deserves to be held, how gentle she deserves to be touched. Every now and again someone walks up to you, and your eyes overt – giving your attention to this someone new. It seems shallow though, like the connection isn’t deep enough, like you have already seen the future between, and it simply does not give justice. You turn back towards the glass…her smile ever so pleasant…and a trust is built – one like you have never felt before.  You try to touch her hand…but alas the glass is real…you can cope though, you know…as long as you stay by this wall…she will stay by this wall and somehow the barrier will lift, and you will see. This thought, it gives you comfort…it keeps your insides warm…this hope you feel. You open your eyes after a blink, something new has appeared. Another figure on the other side of the glass…nothing but a haze and yet, you feel his presence. She extends her hand, and both get up walking into the distance. What just happened? Did she not feel as you did? Was this not something you both wanted? Will she ever come back like you did?

You can only watch the glass wall…as it stabs your heart to think of the inevitable.

I think this could relate to alot of things, to alot of people...it could be translated into many views, many interpretations...but it will do my purpose of conveying the right message...as long as the person who will never read it...reads it.

My interpretation?
That you have been through the love wringer...just like me.

Most pain does...just look at all the classics like Edgar allen poe. The strongest emotions are the easiest to depict.
