You walk into the kitchen, the aroma of fettuccini and melted cheeses smears into your nostrils. You open the oven and the warm familiar sensation of heat passes through the oven mitts to your hands. It’s a grand design in there, a full plate of fettuccini lasagna sitting in a large glass pan greets your eyes making your stomach growl. You pick it up, and sit it on th stove to cool for a few minutes. It’s good food, and for once its not burnt, for a change you have created someone wonderful. You pull out a plate and slap a generous portion for dinner. Sitting down to the table cloth, you pull up a fork and knife and stare around at all the empty seats glaring at you. The forks hit this table, your stomach shutting up to the mixed feelings of a table for one. How did something that seemed so nice, turn around to smother out your life.
