You said hello with a smile
Made my heart start to flutter
With a soothing voice and kind words
You made me melt like butter

We have known each other a short time
Yet it feels like years
I am comfortable and at peace with you
You calm all of my fears

Perhaps something can be shared
Great friendship, maybe more
Same interests and desires
Take me out on the dance floor

Introduce me to your friends
Let your family love me
All we really want in life
Is to always be this happy
