I really should start using the corner desk that I have. Sitting on the couch with the laptop in my lap is kind of tough every night. The couch is sinking (cause of my plump bum) and my feet start to hurt after I have been sitting on them for a while. Besides the cats climb in my lap and make it hard to balance the pc and them at the same time. Can’t figure out who is more jealous… the cats or the computer.
Since I am still living in the dark ages with dial-up, I reckon I am going to have to go get me a longer phone cord. That just means having cord across the floor to the other side of the living room I guess. I used to use a little coffee table next to my bed but I started to fall asleep while chatting so I had to break that cycle.
If you are wondering why I still use dial-up, well, I had cable modem and DSL in the past but realized that I was spending too much time online and so I curb it with very slow dial-up. The internet can’t be my God… only my Heavenly Father can. So I grounded myself.
Ok, so back to moving to the desk. Think I will work on this tomorrow. Probably a good thing that tomorrow never comes.
