the wrong side of destiny
I turn away when you look at me
scared the questions in my eyes you will see
the lingering doubt of what is real
curious of the love you feel

thoughts of you fill my mind
someone like you I never thought I would find
a heart that's so sweet and fragile
was loving me all the while

I find it hard to believe
that you and I were never meant to be
with the touch of your soul
and the heart you stole
were on the wrong side of destiny
