| Days 6 and 7 - Catching up |
Well, looks like I didn't get around to posting yesterday. Sorry about that folks. My scale's battery died, so it will be a few days before I post my stats again.
I finally made it to day 7! Actually, I lost track of the days and thought today was day 6. Anyhoo....
Tomorrow I will be changing my routine a little bit. Instead of the SP Cleanse, I will be taking 5 SP Green Food capsules twice a day. I thought I could add protein on day 7, but it's actually day 11 that I get to do that. Oh well. I had a wonderful dinner consisting of summer squash steamed with onions and fresh tomatoes along with some corn on the cob. I am stuffed!
I haven't really been eating meals per sey, but I've been munching on raw fruits and veggies during the day when I get hungry. The shakes have served as my meals because they leave me satisfied.
So, how do I feel now that the first week is over?
My energy level is definately up. I've eliminated a lot of water weight. I've noticed something significant: I have a nasty case of carpal tunnel syndrome. However, I have gotten a lot of relief this week. Because I've lost so much water weight, my wrist is not swollen like it was before. Less swelling, less pain. I am very happy about that! No more puffy feet either.
My food cravings have pretty much stopped. I don't crave sugar or caffeine now. I'm also not hungry all the time like I was before I started the cleanse. My digestive system has been happier too. The low grade headaches are pretty much gone.
With all of these improvements in just a week, I can't wait to see how I feel after the end of the cleanse!
