So, last summer I took a trip out to the Badlands on a painting trip. It was wonderful, very insipiring - basically, the best part was just getting away from the world I so often find myself wrapped completely up in.
I thought I should probably put one of the paintings up here, since I am a major, and have not yet managed to put anything onto the internet. The first few are 'in progress' pictures, the last is the completed canvas, which was fairly large, but not huge.

Wow! The transition is amazing!
Have you taken any other painting trips to places that you'd recomend?

No, I haven't yet, but I'm going to Tenessee over the summer and I'm hoping to get some good lake and blue ridge mountain walking in.
