 Google Earth Virtual Trip
I used Google Earth to plan a trip to Playa Del Carmen Mexico. I have heard that the beaches and the water in this area are breath taking and I used Google Earth to research it!
Google Earth is a great resource for those wanting to take a trip. The program helps you locate places, map those places, and see what those places look like. One of my favorite functions of Google Earth is you can record where you are going and play it back like a movie. Tons of fun!

Below is the virtual trip that I took:
I started my trip by leaving from Boise Idaho and flying to Salt Lake Utah.
I had a layover in Salt Lake so I wanted to catch a Jazz Game at the Delta Center. Below is a picture I found off of Google Earth of the basketball arena! The Jazz won!!!

The next day I had a 4 hour flight to Cancun Mexico. After getting through customs I hopped on a shuttle bus and headed to my final destination of Playa Del Carmen and the Riu Palace Resort.

The Resort was beautiful and the pictures of the beach are amazing!

On the third day of my trip I wanted to check out some history so I headed to Tulum, an ancient Mayan city that has pyramids. I was an hour bus ride but the pyramids made it worth it!

What a great trip and I owe it all to Google Map! Without Google Map I wouldn’t have been able to plan out my trip so effectively!
