No maby deciminalized. Amsterdam has shops where you can smoke it.I don,t think it would work in the USA.The laws on the books are ok(some states) where it is a fine if caught. However almost all the jobs in the US require drug tests.So no don,t make it legal the US culture isn,t ready for it

Well alcohol is legal, and drunk people can act a whole lot crazier than people who are high. People that are high just want to chill out, listen to music, and eat food. I don't see them beating their kids, or smashing things, or getting into fights. (not that all people who drink do, I'm just saying) Legalizing marijuana would make everyone happy, and would be the answer to world peace............

The only way its bad for you if you abuse it, and its consquences are about the same as of if you abuse alcohol. YES, please legalize. It's wasting goverment money taking all these cases to court over possion of marijuana.

Yes, it should be legal. If almost all the jobs in the U.S. do drug testing, then that itself would curb marijuana's usage, and, if it did not, then usage would curb job drug testing. I've been in the work force for well over 30 years and I have never been tested.

The slippery slope argument, "Where do we draw the line?" is specious. We draw the line after marijuana, or we judge each drug individually.

I think it should be legal. It's not a drug, it grows out of the ground...it's a plant. The only reason it's not is because the government can't make profit off of it.

No, because when its legalized the government will tax it and the price will go up, and I'm happy with what it costs now.
