I like to stay away from those quiet places. Sometimes I am scared I will not like what I find.

It depends on your personality. Maybe you're just an extrovert - they tend to prefer the company of others rather than looking inward. That's OK too. You shouldn't be afraid to be on your own though although I know that some ppl are.
