So, I am back from my road trip.  Well, I got back on the weekend but haven't been on line much until today.  It wasn't a bad little trip. Drove through the interior of BC.  Lots of beautiful scenery; lakes, some semi-desert regions with cactus and sagebrush, vinyards, ranches and of course towns.  Some of the towns are small, some are actually quite large cities.  Stayed in a few nice places. It wasn[t bad.

Anyways, now my little trip is over and it's time to get back to reality.  First things first, I need to obtain full time work.  I still have some part time employment working for a security company.  They have me on call and every now and then ask me to fill shifts, guard a shopping mall here, guard a college campus, etc.  So, I am getting a few hours from them but not really enough. 

Had a bit of a nibble the other day that might lead to a possible job.  I had an interview with a casino and he said he was possibly interested in hiring me as a security officer there.  It would just be on-call to start out because the union contract specifies all employees start off on-call but it might turn into full time.  Of course the job offer isn'[t firm yet but I'm cautiously optimistc.
