| May 27th to 31st – A Very Busy Week!
|

|
I never expect it to be so busy – one which I never thought the last week of May will be nothing but activities. Well actually the month of May is actually a busy one but not as busy as the week from 26th to 31st of May.
27th – Finally, it’s here! Singstar and… Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (for PS3 of course). Looks like I overspend too. Chuckle. These two games seriously make me work it up real much. My skills on GH (Guitar Hero) seriously need some practice. I lack of touch and always make mistakes. But the most fun would be Singstar. It’s a karaoke game – except with music videos of the original artist setting the tone of your voice against theirs. The not so fun part – you need friends to play with and it doesn’t have an online multiplayer feature. Of course, you can record yourself silly in there (which is also my plan) and post it in the community. I never thought myself to do it… but finally, I am doing it.
28th – My friend Jac’s Birthday. Dinner at The Ship (one of the local restaurants in Malaysia for western food). A very popular dinning place too at Damansara Uptown. I recorded some of the funny moments in there and we all had a good laugh at it. 8 of us turn up and we all share and eat together. Would like to thank Jac’s mum for spending such a nice treat. Nice food, fine dinning and good company of friends.
29th – Since the day before this date and today, real morning wake up call. My dad had to attend a sort of convention for a group he joins. Seriously, 5:30am in the morning is not an easy task to wake up. The last time I recall waking up at 5:30am was school days. Now at my age, 5:30am is like waking up in hell – total darkness but cool morning wind. Still, taking my dad there all the way to Kuala Lumpur and back to my house takes at least 15 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Manage to play a bit of Guitar Hero and Singstar too.
30th – A good friend of mine is getting married tomorrow and I was selected to be his “heng tai”. Wow. I am still a bit of shock that he asks me to be one. But that night itself, there are two pre-wedding parties to attend. Of course, I choose the groom side but why both of them have their own parties on the same night? I know them both! Well, it was nice and fun and the food was delicious. Then me, my friend Timmy (congratulations buddy) and the rest of the heng tai talks about battle plans and placement during the Church Service Wedding. Played a little Texas Hold ‘Em (not one of them knows the real rules) and I retire around 11pm as I need to get up early morning the next day.
31st – The Wedding Day. Timmy’s anxious, I am a bit sleepy and the gang is ready to do some trials given by the “chi mui”. We were expecting the worst but somehow it’s just normal. We all did our part and pass the trial and by 10am, we all head over to the church, do some traffic control and then attend the wedding service. It was my first time in a wedding church service. After the service was done, refreshments were given and after that I went back home and Alex (my other friend) tag along to my house to play my PS3 unit till dinner time. We had the wedding dinner at Restoran Chow Yang near Rothman’s Roundaound. Pretty good food (to my surprise unlike the last time I had it there) and of course, good company with friends. We all retire about 10ish at night and went back home.
Out of the entire ½ of this year, this is the only week seriously tires me out. But that is life… which once a while, this do happen to everyone.
