Goodbye 2007... hello 2008. And then some.
As a year goes by, my life changes. But one thing remains the same:- me. Nothing has change so far. I'm still me. Well, maybe my attitude and life changes since many has happen. Here's a checklist:-
1). Fixing my financial problems
2). My ex-girlfriend was stolen from me from a bastard
3). My work is no getting me anywhere
4). Selling a lot of my own collection to pay off debts
5). Friends become enemies
Well, that's how it is. My life has turn upside down. On the plus side, I've change. For the better? Let's just say now I see things clearly. I've made more friends than last year. I'm slowly getting better but still not fully. And then, of course... I'm writing again.
Yes, recently I have been writing. Not just poetry alone but now for something local for the TV. I don't know... it's not script but I'm writing for television. I'm writing stories. And if it happen, it's my debut as a story teller. Well, of course I need to work hard to come up with stories... still, it's amazing right now I'm doing something! Poetry aside, I didn't come up with new ones and let alone, I'm two movie reviews behind!
My friend whom was diagnosed with MS, she was discharge from the hospital but still, her hands are numb as before. Her legs are getting better but her main worry would be the cost of medicine. Hopefully, she approval for government subsidy works so she will pay less. Her mother on the other hand doesn't understand her disease and now thinking there is a cure when there isn't. Only prevention can keep her abilities.
Life for me, it's slower but stay the same. Met more friends, and it's great that way. Ah... will next year be better? We always say it will... at the end of each year. Well, I'm not looking forward to it... just bring it because it's just like any other year... of course, a life's story written.
