I MUST say. I am going to be turning 20 on Monday. Oh how old I'll feel then... ;] I DO want to stay a teenager despite the fact that 20 is only one year away from the oh-so-glorified 21!
That aside, SOMEONE is actually turning 21 this Saturday. I have to think that someone maturing into this age would have some sense of patience by now and common courtesy, am I wrong? Apparently so. What I thought was a friendly phone call to excuse previous accounts of purposefully ignoring their calls and to see how the other person is doing is APPARENTLY an invitation for a sexual interaction. While many people, I'm sure, do in fact call up "for fun", me asking where the nearest gas station and to use their bathroom, I think, is NOT.
I also do NOT think it is right for any guy to automatically assume that a woman's intention is sex. I absolutely abhor the fact that so many men are so egotistical to think that every look, glance even, "hello", facing in the general direction of, "bless you", or smile/scowl is a direct correlation to the woman's sexual desire for that man. GET OVER YOURSELVES.
In turn, I think it is relevant to express my equal amount of contempt or frustration, depending on the degree of the situation, from those that attack people [women] based on those accounts, essentially blaming the woman for "suggesting" such things when really it should be the dumb bastard who did the assuming. Haven't people heard of how to spell assume? It makes an ass out of u and me. BLAH.
See folks? This is part of the reason why some people refuse to play nice. It's because thet get bit in the butt for doing so! >:[ Let's just all try and take things as they are.
