Have u ever got the feeling that ur friends dont like u and talk about u behind ur back. I do especially when they talk about other people behind there back to u. Iv got a couple of really good friends who like me for who i am and there the sort of friends u want. But some u just cant help but wonder. Those friends i find are nice when there not with the inn group but when they are they dont want to know u. How can I tell if there real friends?

Thanks for your comment on my blog and I understood where you're coming from and its slowly starting to heal :]. I know what you mean with friends though because if they are talking about other people behind their back its very likely that they are talking about you too, especially when they try to involve you in arguments and turn everyone against you. Grr! Thats why I hate girl mates lol :] x

People are going to gossip...that's human nature. If people are going to talk to you about other people, then rest assured they are talking about you to other people.

We had an incident only last week with a so-called 'friend' of mine whom I've known since primary school.In fact we take our respective children to the same school some 30 years later.
I treated this head-banger and her family with such kindness.I even gave her son a professional keyboard I owned,as he was going to music college and I wanted to help him out.It was a very expensive keyboard,but I didn't want anything for it.Just to help him.I even bought her daughter stuff back off holiday and gave her husband stuff for his computer.Again,free,just to help.
Then,without warning,she's shown her true colors.I won't go into detail,but she's a using,evil-tounged bitch whose bad-mouthed me to parents at the school,and I've done not a single thing to deserve it.She's done other things too,and is a lazy psyco crazy woman.
My point is,we don't have many friends out of choice.We let a few into our lives (like her) from time to time,but you are never quite sure,as is the case here.Its best to keep them at arms-length.I say this,but I never learn.I'll probably be soft again with someone,and something similar will happen.But for now,my best friends are my wife and daughter and that's just the way I like it.

People are strange breed. I've often wondered the same thing. Do they only settle for you til they find someone better? Are they ashamed to be friends with you?
I've learnt that most people are only accquaintances and that true friends are extremely hard to come by. Or maybe thats just me...
