She points,
and helps you see all the good and bad.
She laughs,
you smile;
you only hope this will last a great while.
The world is scary,
but she holds you closely;
wiping away all your tears.
Your rock,
your firewall;
you cling on til you no longer feel the ache.
"The stars," she says; "Shine for you and you alone."
You reply, "I'm your satellite, my heart revolves for you."
You stare up into the endless wonders,
swirling over your heads;
sparkling hearts reflected in far away suns.
Two thousand moons pass and the stars fall,
you stand by her grave reaching to the sky.
Passion fills your heart as you vow to never let the flame,
die.
Because in the world's end,
all that will be left is the song of satellites and stars.
