| Rest In Peace, Mr Heath Ledger

Hey all,
I'm sure that many of you have heard about the death of Heath Ledger since the U.S. discovered it at 3:00 pm New York Time. Many of you know that he is an Aussie, interestingly Perth is his hometown . Many Australians found him to be a delightful person, and feel really hit really hard by the loss. I have no idea how it is being put on to news casts in the states, but right now one of the channels here has had constant news reports talking about him throughout the day. I have not witnessed the death of favored U.S. celebrity, but I feel...moved at how much loyality and pride that Perth Aussies have towards one of their own who made it in the world.

Nicely said, it is good to see Heath is getting the respect and admiration that he deserves in the media today.. . and there are no signs of the tall poppy syndrome which sometimes seeps into these reports.

Yes he was a great actor, who helped tell fun and and powerfull stories through film.

I was shocked...I really liked him as an actor...I think my favorite was ten things I hate about you...that was such a cute roll for him, and brokeback mountain was just amazing...my heart is breaking for his little girl who will loose the most in all of this...never getting to know her father first hand...that is the real tradgedy
