| creepy forwarded email I received today re Obama

Every now and then one of my friends will forward an email that makes me stop and wonder. Most of the time, Im able to figure out that theyre a bunch of urban myth type nonsense. This one that I got today got me wondering.
I am embarrassed to admit that I really havent bothered to find out anything about Mr Obama other than where he stands on issues that are important to me and my family. (I dont know if I will vote for him. But Ive considered it)
Could something like this be true? Wouldnt it be all over the national news instead of on the internet? If it were true, would it be possible for someone like him to get this far into american politics? I think it may be just some group trying to discredit him. But the things in this email about Mr. Obama are scary!

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born
in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM
from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHEIST from
Wichita, Kansas.
Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two
years old, his parents divorced. Hi s father returned to Kenya. His
mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia.?
When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocate to Indonesia. Obama
attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a
Catholic school.
Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is
quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also
attended Catholic school."
Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that
that he is not a radical.
Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this
influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned
to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct
influence over his son's education.
Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham,
introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school
in Jakarta.
Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim
terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since
it is politically expedient to be a CH RISTIAN when seeking major
public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined
the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim
background. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he
DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.
Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor
will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands
over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches.
Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential
candidacy.
The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside
out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the
President of the United States, one of their own!!!!

everything in it is true but it doesn't mean anything bad about Obama. I'm not even a supporter of his but I can see its just a bad attempt to get paranoid people scared about nothing. Barack Obama is a united states senator who is a tad bit controversial mainly because he is african american. Unfortunately that still scares some americans. Thankfully, it doesn't scare most americans as we can see by recent polls among probable voters.
Thanks for passing that on, its good to see what crazy people are up to. You should forward that to a news service and/or to the obama campaign, i'm sure they would like to see the bad politic tactics going on.

THAT IS ALL TRUE ABOUT OBAMA HERE IS A LINK THAT YOU CAN CHECK FOR YOUR SELF. SNOPES.COM! IF YOU READ IT ALL IT IS.. I have not received this email BUT I hear if you click on the link it gives you, the link disputes the email!!! I think that he is a bit too un-vetted to be this close to the White House but I do not this sleeper cell from the mulsium world. He had a more "colorful" background than most but I think it might be good. I do not plan on voting for him as a lifelong conservative but I dod not have the same fear w/ him that i do w/ the evil witch,,,as Chris Rocke said "If my wife got up on this stage, not one of you will laugh" Why does Hillary think she can do the job because her man did it?"

What I find most sad about this information is that if he is a Muslim he feels he needs to hide that fact in a country like America, supposedly the land of the free, a tolerant nation. Also, I'm not a Muslim, or even that religious but I'm insulted by the constant use of 'the Muslims'. I would hope that eventually people will stop lumping people together under the same umbrella. These terrorists (as any genuine Muslim will tell you) are not even real Muslims, as true Muslims are pacifists and the Koran states that those who commit murder in this way shall be damned. Not being Christian doesn't make a person automaticlly evil. As a British citizen I only hope that if elected he has the sense not to drag the US into any more wars where young people lose their lives to fight for oil...because as we all know, what America does, Britain is sure to follow, and we have lost enough young people already. I also just hope that in this election EVERYONES vote will count, and wish you guys every luck with whoever you get next! :-)
I urge people to fight against this type of propaganda, allow themselves to see all sides and make up their own minds, and denounce all forms of racial and religious hatred and radicalism, terrorism and extremism in all its forms...and with family in Northern Ireland...I know all about terrorism.

This is the correct infos on Barack Obama and his step father Lolo Soetoro. Both the 2 schools in Jakarta confirmed the truth.
1. Lolo Soetoro Mangunharjo, Obama's Indonesian stepfather is a Moslem but it was not true that he was a radical Moslem.It was said that he followed Islam teaching where it is allowed to blend with the local beliefs of traditional Javanese Hiduism and Animism. He died in 1987 of liver failure.
2. It was not true that Obama attended Radical Wahabi School in Jakarta. Infact, young Barrack Obama was enrolled at Fransciscus Assisi Catholic Primary School in January, 1968 under the name of "Barry Soetoro". Student Enrolment No.203 and he sat in class 1B (grade 1). He stayed at this Catholic school until Grade 3. Later on, the family shifted house, so Barry Obama (Barry Soetoro) was moved to Besuki Primary School which is an ordinary "Indonesian State School". He stayed until 1973 when he was sent to study in Hawaii and stayed with his maternal grand parents.
I have an Indonesian background, and I gathered this infos from different sources both from Indonesia and overseas. (Gwatlan)
