Life sucks and then you die
I am preparing to enter the hospital next week for neck surgery. This will be my 10th surgery in my lifetime, and first with no family support. I am currently married to someone who is proud of the fact that she cares about nobody except herself.
The surgery is the result of a degenerative neck & back condition that if left untreated would result in paralysis.
However, my wife believes I intentionally did this so she would have to support me. So, she has given me 2 weeks after surgery to return to work or she will kick me out.
I have been told by many that I need to publish my life story because of all that has happened. Maybe if I survive this, I will do that here.
I have survived 3 surgeries that should have killed me, a motorcycle accident where I should have died, and a marriage to someone who would prefer I was dead.

Don't be pushed into going back to work, too soon! Let the doctors and your body dictate when to return to work. Do you have family or a friend you could recoup with, if needed? As far as your wife goes, if it comes to that, it just may be the best thing that could happen to you! Try to be encouraged...You are still alive for a reason!

considering that your wife, as you asy, doesnt care about you much.... and that you have no family around you at this time.... if I were you I would take my time and get better, as doctors advise you...

suffering from back injust or neck injury is something very serious.. and if you dont take it easy you can get worse.. or as you put it yourself.. paralyzed... and THEN who is going to take care of you?... not her obviously...

so dont listen to her.. and take as much time as your doctors advise you... as much time as your body needs...this is a medical condition .. and it cannot be timed 'in two weeks' according to someone who has no clue of what is going on with your body...

be logical...
listen to your doctors...
