FIRST, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!
SECOND......as I awoke and sleepily dragged myself to my computer this morning and opened myspace, I was taken aback by a message I received from one of my friends. Seems there is someone out there who really does NOT like MommaT. How DARE they!! LOL
The message read: Did you know? someone (notice I still am not mentioning names)wants to warn ALL their 113 friends to delete and block me from their page because I am a virus.
Since I know all of you are scratching your heads and wondering what the hell is going on.......now is the time to give you all a little insight on the "internet drama" I've been involved in.....
Who knew that 2 years ago when I first learned how to make a page of my very own, that I'd become so damn popular??? lol It's unfortunate there are people out there who don't really care for this "old" gal, but alas there is. Something I will have to live with, I suppose....
Okay......so back to the drama.....On or around October 30....some friends (again no names)hosted a chat with a previous houseguest of the CBS television show Big Brother, of which I attended. It was a great chat and I had a glorious time. The guest of honor had never chatted before so you could tell he/she was having a difficult time keeping up with what everyone was saying. In any case......the next morning a "Bulletin" was posted about how rude this person was in his/her chat to one person in particular. This person that felt belittled in the chat was also a friend of mine (at the time).......so, I commented on the bulletin to console her hurt feelings and eventually wound up in a yahoo chat with her and another individual (who also will remain nameless)......Well, next before I knew it.....there was a Third party involved (yep, you guessed it......no name)and this Third Party was a REAL Bitch.....and that's putting it mildly. The two of us messaged each other daily for approximately two weeks. This person was demanding explanations from me about why I said this and that about this and that. Is any of this making any sense??
So....now, we're up to three ppl (4 counting me)then.....there's a 5th (no name)and so on and so on and so on.......I have tried to make everyone understand the best I could, but seems I was the "liar" as it was so eloquently put to me in a message from one of them.
Two weeks of back and forth messaging to this person and finally I thought to myself...."self.....give it up, it's the internet for crying out loud"....so, I politely (tee hee) told these ppl I was, as Natalie from BB9 would've put it D.U.N.N.!!!! It was then, November 15 that I went on a delete and block rampage.....and all was quiet......FINALLY!
Last week, just before New Year's....a NEW bulletin was posted from the one who was "demanding" all the explanations from me using my name metaphorically about a "delicious" christmas gift he/she received.
Again.........I did not respond, but my friends did! Like a roar of Thunder, my friends came to my defense. Please keep in mind......this person who was so demanding of me had been a friend on my page a total of perhaps......maybe 3 weeks! Who the Hell does he/she think he/she is???
Which......brings me to today when apparently, these PEOPLE just can't leave this "little pup" alone and have decided to tell all 113 of his/her friends to delete and block me because I have a virus!!
So........there you have it folks, that's my side of the story......I'm sure someone will copy and paste this to the "Big Dogs" and everyone will see just how sour and bitter these girls/guys really are. All I can say is.......I'm sure Brandon is really proud of his myspace friends and their professional behavior.
With all of the above having been said......my advice to everyone, friend or foe, is be careful what or how you say things to others and keep your friends close and your enemies closer because in the end what is perceived by one is truely different to someone else. This drama has and still is the most ridiculous thing I've ever been involved in. It's even worse than High school (from what I can remember of it).
I am and still will be involved in Big Brother.....as I'm sure everyone else will be too. It's a shame, a crying shame some people miss the show soooooo much they have to find someone on the internet to continue the games......I wonder what the prize is??
Here's lookin at you kids......see you in cyberspace......and beware of the "mommasita" virus......I hear it's a real killer!
