Hear, all you peoples!
Listen, O earth and all that is in it!
Let the Lord God be a witness to you,
The Lord from His holy temple.
For behold, the Lord is coming out of His place;
He will come down
And tread on the high places of the earth...........Micah 1:2-3
The immense step from the Babe at Bethlehem to the living, reigning triumphant
Lord Jesus, returning to earth for His own people – that is the glorious truth
proclaimed throughout Scripture. As the bells ring out the joys of Christmas,
may we also be alert for the final trumpet that will announce His return, when
we shall always be with Him..........Alan Redpath
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for sending Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to live
life on earth fully human, yet fully Divine. He taught us to live the life of
victory and gave to us forgiveness of sin and life everlasting. And once again,
as You have promised and foretold us, He will come again to take His family
home. I pray, Dear Lord, that we are prepared for that day to come. I pray for
the procrastinators who have not yet made that final commitment to You. I pray
for the non-believers who have heard about Your promise, yet have denied it. And
I pray for those, Dear Lord, who have not heard about the gift of salvation and
eternal life. I pray that someone is able to reach them and lead them to Your
Truth. For today is the day of salvation! In Jesus most precious name, I pray.
Amen.
