There is an old saying that says, If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got! Change requires action! Even small changes in ourselves requires effort! This is why so few of us ever change anything - it is just too much trouble!
But sometimes, just a little change (something small done differently by us), can cause a change, if we can manage to do it over and over, and over! When applied to political things, it can be especially true if we unite with others in doing it. Just a little action, repeated over and over, united together with many people, can cause great changes to happen in our country and in the world!
I am taking about just a little change in the way you vote. If you would unite with others to Always vote, but Never Reelect, we could in time completely clean out our Congress,and restore it toit orginal purpose of representing the people. By firing everyone in Congress (and our President), and replacing them, we could actually stop them from doing away with our Constitution and our Country!
Maybe you don’t think that our Congress is corrupt, or that it should be cleaned out. If so, you don't need to go any further reading this. However, I just wonder where have you been hiding? You really need to wake up!
To all of you who know how corrupt our Congress has become, but just can’t bear the thought (even for awhile) of voting against all incumbents -- because this means that I would be 1) sometimes voting against my party, 2) voting against those I like in Congress, or 3) voting against someone in Congress who has promised to give me what I need (or want). If this change at the voting booth is going to be just too hard for you to do, well, what I'm saying is not for you; but just don’t be too surprised if you keep on getting what you always got, only progressively worse!
To the rest of you, who are at the point (as Glenn Beck says) where blood is spewing from your eyes at what is going on in Washington, why don’t you join me in firing the bums! I’m not saying that it is going to be easy. No change is easy! But it is the one sure way, that I know of that (as long as we still have a vote) we can get rid of lifetime, corrupt, career politicians (and their cohorts), who represent only themselves; and, once again, be able to reestablish a Citizens Congress, who will represents the voters!
We can do it! Change doesn’t come easy, and it must be done over and over to do any good! But united together, we can do it -- we can actually change things in our Country. Remember -- Always Vote, but Never Reelect! This must be done consistantly, done over and over again, and, no matter what, you must never, never, ever vote for an incumbent (no matter who it is, and no matter what it means to you). It can be done! Will you join me?
