| Consumers Opinion of Real Estate Brokers and Agent

It’s always seems like we always hear the complaints and not the praise. It seems like in the media we are always hearing how Realtors commissions are to high. We constantly hearing about the individuals not satisfied with their Realtor services. It always seems like individuals are questioning our abilities.
Is this Reality? Not according to a report done by the “Consumer Federation of America (CFA).” It showed 68% of consumers surveyed view Real Estate Brokers and Agents as favorable. Out of consumers that recently used a Real Estate Broker or Agent it is a much higher rate. These consumers show that 79% view Real Estate Brokers and Agents as favorable.
Time and time again we hear how expensive Real Estate Brokers and Agents are but the For Sale By Owners sales still are less than 15% of total sales of houses. At least 85% of individuals use a Real Estate professional.
The plain fact of the matter is that the majority of people, see the value of using a Real Estate Professional and value the services that we supply. These individuals are just a silent majority which is fine. As a Realtor, I think it is important to hear the complaints. It keeps us sharp on trying to satisfy our customers.
