It’s funny how different social events affect the market.  June and July were by far the best month’s for my business this year.  The first part of August made me think August was going to be similar.  It seemed like every time I called or e-mailed someone I received some sort of response.  Then about a week ago everything slowed.  People stopped responding to the e-mails and calls.  So what happened?

I know from my personal experience, it was about the time my family started preparing for school starting.  I believe this caused my business to slow.  My clients instead of thinking about there next home have been pre-occupied with getting the family ready for school.  I have no statistical analysis of this, just my experience.  At least this is what I am hoping.  I have even had a prospect tell me this week that they want to list their house with me but haven’t had time to meet because how busy they have been getting their kids ready for school.  It’s not just my clients that have made me think this.  My daughter started school today and everything that need done prior to school made the past week very stressful.  So I kind of understand what my clients have been going through.
