The 2nd part of being the Salt and Light

I just read the exact passage for being salt and light, Matt 5: 13-16

Have we been witnessing who we are in our workplace, or have we hidden our identity somewhere and not willing to show others what we believe and who we are - christian (we are saved by the blood of Christ and we are His followers). Are we ashamed of the love of God in our lives? Or have we forgotten that we are the redeemed and our mission on earth to share His love to others, so that the lost may be found in Christ.
Are we being the lamp but we hide it under the table, not letting people to know us as christian??

And as we let others know we are christians, are we carrying a right attitude, that to GLORIFY GOD, not ourselves? Are we just showing off how cool, how good we are as a christian, or do we remember to GLORIFY GOD in all our doings? Is that WE be glorified or GOD ALONE? Do a double check and make sure our motives, our objectives in doing good stuffs is to glorify God, that's our aim.
We need to let our good deeds shown, shine out for all to see, the aim is to LET GOD BE GLORIFIED through the good works we do for others. We do good to others, because of our love for others, and we do it, not to pride ourselves good, but to give God the praise, give God the honor, give God the glory.

Prayer point:

Dear Lord,
Thank you for reminding us to do good for your sake, so that we may glorify you in what we do on earth. Help us to be aware of self-righteousness, aware of our own pride, if we have given credit to ourselves, we now give all the credits back to you, for you alone be glorified and for you are good to us, Lord. We are your servants, help us to be a good and faithful servants, to give you all the glory and honor, Lord. For you deserve our praises, we give you thank, Oh God. Purifies our motives and convict us Lord. Thank you Jesus, Amen.
