 Science Fiction Webzines

November 20 2007

I don't have time today for one of my usual long winded epistles. Instead, I'll just provide links to some great science fiction webzines. At these sites, you'll find stories and novellas that are as good or better than those you'll pay for in the print magazines and the material is free:

Planet Magazine:

http://planetmag.com/index.php

Jim Baen's Universe:

http://www.baens-universe.com/

Aphelion Science Fiction:

http://www.aphelion-webzine.com/

Enjoy.

George

PS It's interesting that so much material available on the Net is free. One reason is that nobody has found a practical way yet to make any money by writing fiction (or nonfiction) for the Internet. Do any of you have any ideas on how that could be done?

George, an old friend said to me too long ago, in order to make a million dollars writing, first you have to start with two million.. It has to consume your every waking moment. :)
