Though I'm of Irish descent, I have to admit that the Irish can sometimes be quick to take offense.  For example, while visiting Dublin, I decided to drop into one of the local pubs for a pint of Guinness.  As I sat down at the bar, I realized that I'd been in that same pub about six months earlier.

When the barkeep came over, I smiled at him and said, "You know, I came here six months ago."

"Jaysus!" the barman shouted. "I'm servin' as fast as I can."
