| Anyone else fed up with the McCanns?

First up I'd like to apologize for the following rant, but this is really ticking me off.
Ever since Maddie McCann went missing her parents have been in the papers just about every week. Even now all these months later her parents are still making the front covers. These people deserve no sympathy. At best they neglected their children while they went out to enjoy themselves, leaving their kids in a strange place in a strange country. At worst, they themselves killed Maddie and came up with the cover story of her going missing. Either way, they are responsible.
Now, I really hope the child is alive and living with some family who just wanted a kid of their own. I have nothing against the campaigns to try and find the child, but I do have a real problem with all the attention and money the parents are making from their childs loss.
It was bad enough they were all over the papers, but now there is talk of book deals, and movie deals, and even a £1m deal to appear on American talk shows like Oprah.
I for one am disgusted by this. These people are making a fortune at their childs expense.
I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but face it people. PARENTS WHO NEGLECT THEIR CHILDREN DO NOT DESERVE PITY WHEN SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS. My pity and my support is for the child and not her neglectful parents who only think of themselves.
End of rant.

I do think not enough consideration is paid to the other millions of children who go missing every year and sad to say...I think its an issue of class.
I wonder what would have happened if it had been a single mum on benefits on holiday in Skegness, eating out with some friends whilst she left her kids alone in a room? I don't need to wonder - at least she would've been investigated, at worst torn apart by the police, social services and the media.
My sympathy too is with Maddie, not her parents, as in the process of all this fuss, other parents are going through the exact same thing and getting no help or support to find their kids.
Something about the whole thing just doesn't feel right though, and I've heard alot of people say the same.

I am sick of hearing about Maddie's parents too. I watched this show with Maddies parents on there and they didn't seem to show any emotion at all. In my head I am thinking, why aren't they crying, or devastated? They showed no feeling. I think Maddie's parents had something to do with Maddie being missing. But I mean I feel so sorry for Maddie. The parents of Maddie deserves NO sympathy or pity whatsoever
