Once in a while you actually get to hear positive news on the radio. Rather than the usual crap about Hill-dog, Obama, or even how much the Government is fucking us over by sending billions of dollars a month to Iraq, only to find that (of course) Iraq already has billions of it's own oil subsidies . Ouch indeed.

I heard one good report of an unexpected sort: A dolphin who frequents a beach ( likes to hang out with the locals) assisted in a rescue of two Sperm whales that got beached by accident. Despite the grand efforts of local envornmentalists with vast experience in this sort of thing, were unable to help the ailing beasts. Until the massivly intelligent dolphin showed up and squeeked instructions to the whales and led them to safety through a cove and back into the ocean.

The apparent communication between a dolphin and these whales is an amazing thing. It is a show of the natural world looking out for it's fellow creatures... We should be so lucky. I think we could learn a thing or two from this example of acting selflessly.
