The usual compassion

I spend my time looking past the ugliness in other people because I like the buried gems inside. I feel compassion for the abuses or hardships or horrors that cause these ugly character flaws, so what happens? My life is surrounded by character flaws.

What happens with compassion? I can't use my own computer because drunken jealousy password-protected it from me. So now that the drunken slumber has finally begun, I have to use the computer in the drunken domain, sticky with spilled wine, stinking with beers and cluttered with nips.

What happens with compassion? Everyone I used to love to know is a ghost to me, a ghost because of death or a ghost because of jail or a ghost because of drugs.

What happens with compassion? Younger siblings I try to protect from harm because like me there are no parents willing to protect them, but they don't trust me, they trust the deceit they grew up to believe and fall victim to the manipulation. They do not heed my warnings. So now the ones I warn them about hate me, and so do the ones I try to protect.

What happens with compassion? The ones who might even want to help you think you're too strong and level to need it, when you really need it the most. Or they just think you like to control and resent you for it. They don't see the love in your actions. They are not compassionate. This is why you can understand all you want, but will not be understood by the ones who need you to understand.

Vicious cycle of the needy and the needed.

Better go mop up the piss all over the bathroom floor, and the hallway, and the tub... better throw away all the "empties", better get the groceries and make the meals and clean up this disaster area so that when the drunken slumber awakns, I might be able to enjoy some time.

What happens with compassion? Life sucks, but if it weren't for the compassionate, it would suck all the time for everyone else, too.

Everyone will be here anyway even if no one loved them. It's better that someone does.

I grew up in place quite similar to yours either my friends were killed by gangland issues, or they died of drug over dose. The pretty sexy high schoolgirl I grew up with walk the street for crack because in high school they had the pretty ass and the vermin of society party them up to a point that they got hooked and now they lost all their conceitedness and swallow more then their pride.

Eventually walls break down and people become trusting because they believe that people are generally are decent but they are not….

I remember in Louisiana when Katrina hit instead of people helping people I heard that many young ladies were being raped by pack of youth. What ever happened in helping your fellow man (Woman).

Can you imagine people actually raping and killing people. Jesus you would think there parents raised them with better principles to live by.

I survived my youth and my adulthood because God was and still is watching over me because He wants the sole pleasure in seeing me burn for an eternity for all my sins…

And I am no Pig I Just Have A Love for the Female Body because when I do die I will never see those beautiful creatures ever again….

I think revenge is what gets us every time. Something hurts us so we try to get back at somebody for it and all it does is push each other further away. If we could learn to forgive the world would be a much better place. I believe there is something inside of us that longs for reconciliation for all people. Maybe one day we will evolve to the point of making it real. Who knows.
