| A Wal-Mart Christmas |
|
While walking through Wal-Mart, something I rarely do I could not help notice the array of mind boggling Christmas decorations or as most boxes read...Holiday decorations. Silver stick thin trees,pre-decorated trees, silly charactors popping out of giant blow up baloons....but.....not one nativity scene did I see. If there was one it was obscure to the superficial spectacle of lights and glitter. We now know but choose to ignore that these lights and silly blow ups were made by slaves, children and adult parents making $48.00 per week working 6-7 days a week 10 hour days in often diplorable conditions. At one time we as the people of America would never have stood for buying these things knowing what we know about these Chinese goods. Our ability to empathize has reached an all time low in favor of stringing lights to impress the neighbors. Buying meaningless "decorations" no matter who suffered so we can pay a cheap price for the glitz and glitter.
I for one decided not to buy anything in Wal-Mart. Christmas is a religous holiday no matter what the globalist interests would brain wash us Americans to think. I choose not to be a victum of globalist capitalist manipulation. This Christmas I will serve food to the needy. That is what Christmas is all about. That is all I need.
