So this is a blog. This is my graffiti on the digital wall. A place to shout my heart to the masses, to try to be heard amid the noise of all those bloggers who came before or will come after. This is my world. This is my blog.
And yet,
I do not presume to have any wisdom greater than my neighbor, or to have a more accurate view of world affairs. What I do have is a heart and mind molded by the experience of my own years; a perspective forever seen through the goggles of my own existence, shaped and colored by my human strengths and failings.
This blog is a unique snowflake. (corny, i know) One that on its own might shine for a moment, too small to be perceived, then find its way to the earth to be instantly absorbed and forgotten. But when this snowflake is joined by millions more, they instead survive to transform the world into a glistening and pristine landscape. And so the one supports the many.
I have no grand desires for this blog. I only wish to add my small stitch to the fabric of the public forum, so that we may have a sharing of ideas such as the world has never seen. I hope my thoughts, however small, may help accumulate more ideas, which may turn into new initiatives which then turn into action.
And so,
to support a world of ideas that we create together
I humbly put before you
a view of the world
as I feel it,
as I see it.
