| because of you |
i learned alot about who i am and what i am capeable of
ive learned to love
i learned to cry
and i learned what it meant to loose everything
you taught me the beauty in life, to warmth of happiness
the bitterness of things unsaid
and the hollowness of empitness
you gave me so many hopes and dreams
so much passion so much joy
each day better then the last
moments that seemed to last a life time
hours that felt like forever
but those were hard lessons
they were just a prelude to things to come
the pain that you have caused me
the despair
the lonliness
the humiliation
the sorrow
the loss
you taught me this as well
through out all this its strange but my heart has
not wavered it still belongs to you
sure i may have found another
but the lessons i learned from you
apply only to you and i
i know i should not compare or even try to
analyze things anymore but
is this what we were meant to end like
this pain
this saddness
i have moments when a simple act
can trigger my memories of you
i miss you still
i have just gotten better at hiding it away
because of you my heart is broken
because of you i still shed tears
because of you....
because of you i love you still
always and forever
becasue of you.
