Bisquick Recipe – A world of opportunities.

Did you ever notice the wide variety of Bisquick Recipe?
I always knew that Bisquick recipe is used for making pancakes, but when I was looking for a Bisquick Recipe on the web I realized that Bisquick recipe is available for everything from pizza dough to pancakes, dumplings and the list goes on and on.

So I got curious and tried some of the more interesting Bisquick Recipe I found.

Here are two Bisquick Recipe I loved best:

Bisquick Recipe #1 - Pizza Bisquick Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Dough

  • 2 1/8 cups of Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup flour

For the Sauce

  • 1 (8 ounce) can of tomato sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Oregano to taste
For the Toppings
  • 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 pound of mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 pound of ground bacon
Directions:
  • Mix the Bisquick, flour and water
  • Knead and let sit in covered bowl for 1/2 hour
  • Heat the tomato sauce, garlic powder and oregano in saucepan until bubbly
  • Roll dough into pizza pan
  • Brush dough with oil, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese,1/2 of the mozzarella cheese and the sauce.
  • Add toppings of your choice to the pizza and add the remaining mozzarella cheese
  • Bake at 475 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes
Bisquick Recipe #2 – Apple coffee cake bisquick recipe

Ingredients:

For the Cake:
  • 2 cups of Bisquick mix
  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • 2 Tbsp of white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tart green apple
For the Topping:
  • 1/3 cup of Bisquick mix
  • 1/3 cup of packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 4 Tbsp of butter
Directions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
  • Core, peel and slice the apples
  • Grease a 9" round pan
  • Mix the cake ingredients and spread cake batter in pan
  • Insert the apple slices into the batter evenly throughout the cake
  • Mix the topping ingredients and spread the topping mix over top of batter in pan
  • Add slices of butter all over the top.
  • Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown
