 Peanuts and Peanut Butter
Today I celebrate a world renown innovation .....Peanut Butter. That's right I said Peanut Butter. WHAT,.....You don't like Peanut Butter????

The discovery of peanuts themselves came from South America, thought to be around what is now known as Brazil as early as 950BC. It wasn't until 1895 that Dr John H Kellogg and his brother W.K Kellogg discovered a process to mash the peanuts into a cream which today, became known as Peanut Butter.

Now, in the event you say HMMMMMMMM that name sort of sounds familiar, it should, these are the same two brothers that went on to become the cereal moguls of today.

"How do you know all this funnyman", you ask......WELL, for one, I MAY be older than you think, OK YOU GOT ME..... I RESEARCHED IT...... Clearly, I wasn't born until at LEAST 50 BC, Hahaha.

I am writing this today because I have a huge love for this tasty product. I love it on toast, on Pb and J sandwiches and of course my favorite, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. YUMMMMMM.

Wanna hear some fun trivia about the peanuts and peanut butter??????? "SURE", YOU SAID......OK then here it is:

Peanuts:
QUESTION????????
What month boasts National peanut month?......Give up......March....
It's true.

How many lbs of peanuts do Americans eat each year????

Ans:----700 million lbs. per year. In fact , with this amount, it would cover the entire floor of the Grand Canyon.

Peanut Butter:

The average teenage boy eats 1500 PB and J sandwiches by the time he becomes 18.

With high pressure and extreme temperates, Peanut Butter can be turned into diamonds.

The longest Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich was made in Peanut Pa.......It was 40 ft. long and had 160 lbs. of Peanut Butter and 50 lbs. of jelly.

96 % of people put their Peanut Butter on the top, and Jelly on the bottoms of their sandwiches.

People on the west coast of the USA like the crunchy while people on the East like the soft Peanut Butter.

Adults consume much more Peanut Butter Than kids do.

I hope you liked them, I just thought these were interesting.

While we all know that Peanut butter is good to eat, but, other common uses for it are:

Dog treats.....

A funny show really, watching them trying to lick it off their teeth. Watching them lick the Peanut Butter off of their teeth is hilarious. (BY the3 way........PETA does NOT have to respond here.....NO actual dogs were hurt in this post).........Hahahahaha.

            ..................AND..............

Mouse trap bate.....

Mice LOVE Peanut Butter........Just a little bit on the trap should do the trick. Works EVERY TIME......

Of course the best thing to do with peanut butter is EAT IT...Speaking of eaing......I'm starved after writing about this. I'm gonna make a nice PB and J sandwich....Anybody else???

As always, thank you for reading.

Haha, I live on the east coast and I like creamy peanut butter. Now I feel like I'm part of a statistic.

Well I have an idea why you may find PB more intresting than some. It helps the low blood sugar. This was very intresting...I admit I had not done my research lol. Take care:)

Good post funnyman. I like peanut butter and love Reese's peanut butter cups. However, having been born on the West Coast, I disagree about the chunky part - I like mine smoooooth like my men.....LOL! Sorry for the corny joke I could not help it. Neither of my children would eat a PBJ sandwich, but one would eat Reese's. Strange kids. As usual, I enjoyed your post.

And to think I thought DeBeers mined their diamonds - all this time they were peanut farmers. Hmm.

We have a kind of wheaten bread here which is sort of unique to this part of the world. Toasting it, spreading it with good, peanut butter is a little bit of heaven. Sigh!!!
