There's just me - overthehillandfaraway. I don't really understand why some people have several identities but I do understand that some people have had bad experiences and been forced to change their names. Thankfully I'm allowed to drift along with no hassle which is just what I want. Cheers to you.

FM as I read through the multitude of post on here I have found a few friends who have different screen names, you included. If a person reads closely enough there are tell tale signs that give a sudo-writer away and you know I read right through people's words. So by using sudo with writer is that; one writer two programs, or one programmer with two writing styles lol.

I'm just me...I'm a little too much to handle with ONE identity...you definitely don't want me splitting myself up.

I understand the reasons behind having more than one account but I do feel weird that I might be communicating with someone I have come to know, and then find out that they are also someone else....that I have come to know, as well...add to it, the fact that many people may know of the existence of the two personalities, but not me, and I would just feel stupid...stupid and embarrassed and somewhat taken advantage of. It would probably make me avoid writing comments.

I am just me...I have thought about creating an alter ego account,but then I thought to myself that would be like lying and being someone who Is not me....
I am way to honest to create a alter ego,tho the thought of it would be fun..it just wouldnt be me....

I'm an honest prson, just have two distinctive sides
to my personality so I needed to let the alter ego out.

However, I do think it is very creative to have different styles and I agree, as long as
one does not deliberately try to deceive or play on people's emotions, they why not.

Ya, that's why I hve 2 accounts. I have two very
different writing styles and as such it works well
for the other creative side. Ok....GO SNIFF ME OUT THEN.....

while back someone left for awhile.. but I saw a new blogger suspiciously like.. shared my suspicions with someone.. and found it was indeed a double identity... just not who I thought! right string, wrong Yo-Yo.. I may well take a new one because i want to write a detective novel, but don't wanna tie up my main blog.. as to your 2nd.. i got a suspicion or two but nothing for sure..

When I started on Thoughts.com, I wrote under my name and then, began a poetry blog under another name. It's still there, but I only use it for poetry. I can usually figure out these types of situations with other bloggers (ego and alter ego) because of writing styles, common grammatical 'errors' and similar phrases used. But, sometimes, I am surprised!
