I love Philadelphia. Cheesesteaks, Wil Smith, Ben Franklin. Though I'm not a huge baseball fan, I always root for whoever's playing the Yankees.

Half my family loves the Yankees...including my dad...its hard to gloat during the game and not start a war!!! hahaha...

Since I despise the Yankees.....GO PHILLIES!!! :).

I am 100% PHILLIES PHAN!!!!!!! Went to the parade last year, which wasn't so great, and I thought they could have done it up more for the thousands and thousands of people who were there. Last night's game was Awesome...I am sooooooooo ready for tonight's game!!!!!!!

Ok, Game 1 in New York...its official...Phillies win 6 - 1. Great pitching by Cliff Lee, who was cool and confident, and two homeruns by Chase Utley. My son is not happy with me..gloating is kept to a minimum... ;-)

Ok... Game 2....I'm going with the Phils again...Pedro Martinez has the star power, the experience and the record to keep the momentum going....and wouldn't that be "SA WEET!!!"

And on a completely different note...how about those ladies throwing out the first ball last night...Michelle sported black pants and high heels...yep...she threw in heels...Gosh, I love that woman!!!!!!

Game 2 went to the New York Yankees, 3 - 1. The next game is in Philadelphia...yeah, Baby!...we'll show them how we roll in OUR home town...I think Cole Hamels pitches the next game for Philly...

Ok, so we blew game 3...and now game 4 PHUCK!!!! I am not happy...we have one more game in Philadelphia....obviously, if we lose we lose the whole series...and I can't comment anymore now, because I don't want to jinx them...although I will NOT be so kind if they lose the next game...gggrrrrr!!!!!!

Game 5 and the Phillies were able to put another one away!!!! YEAH!!!! Ok, so we looked good again...looked like we came to play...the line up was back in business. And once again, I feel like a cheesesteak! Eating one, that is... hahaha! Problem is, now we go to NY to finish the series...that isn't an advantage for us. New York already seems to have little difficulty bringing the heat in the last two innings....

Game 6 in NY on Wednesday night...stay tuned!

How will the two old veteran pitchers do WEDN.night on a short rest. I'm hoping Pedro has his stuff; because I'm sure Pettit will. And Utley has to get one more homer to be the all-time HR hitter for one World Series; surpassing Ruth,Mantle,Reggie and Yogi.
