Some people live their lives as a shining example of how we are SUPPOSED to behave.
Regardless of age, faith, culture, gender, occupation, economic status… it doesn’t matter. There is an unwritten code and we all know it…Instinctually, as human beings, we know it. But few of us really live what we know. Erika Meyer was a person who knew it and lived it. She was a member of our Thoughts family and she passed away this early this morning. Her name here was “cancer sucks”. Her husband, Andrew, has posted the news on her blog site. She started her blogs when she found out about her rare, aggressive and devastating cancer. Anyone who has been touched by this disease knows there is a fellowship amongst those who share in this experience. Erika wanted to leave a legacy of information and understanding for those who suffer similarly. She was brave, funny, warm, hopeful, honest, and …did I say brave? Her blogs are amazing, considering what she was enduring. If you want to experience a true hero’s story…and be forwarned…grab some tissues….read Erika’s story. She was one beautiful lady.
