Damn, to finally have to say goodbye is eating me up inside, confronting my pain, tackling these demons that I continue to hide. The agony of seeing you walk out the door has brought me to my knees, because I will forever see something in you that no one else sees. The gift that I've received from you...is you. No one else has fully experienced the whirlwind that is you. And throughout our roller coaster ride together I have yet to open my eyes, I have yet to let go of your hand, and I squeeze a little harder every time things get a little scary...and things are scary now...please don't let go of my hand...because I have not prepared myself for the devastation that awaits me when I open my eyes...an empty seat next me and a tear soaked face, memories that will last me forever and a spot in your heart...my permanent place.
