| Media choosing the candidates

Dear MSNBC,
I'm writing to protest your decision to exclude Dennis Kucinich from the Presidential candidates' debate in Las Vegas. The voters should be choosing the candidates, not the media. At this point, most voters have not made up their minds, and prematurely excluding candidates narrows their already very narrow choices. Both Dennis Kucinich on the left, and Ron Paul on the right, are serving an important role in this election - to point out to the voters that there are alternatives to the "same old, same old" that has led us to the sorry position our country is in today, and to keep the establishment politicians, if not honest, at least in touch with reality.
When Putin was manipulating the recent elections in Russia, the western media was crying foul. I hope you will apply the same standards to the upcoming elections in the U.S. |
