Today was a big day for the Philippines as Manny Pacquiao finally had his rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez. It took them four years to arrange this fight and evreybody was glued infront of their tv sets ready to cheer and support Manny. My mom was one of those people but I reminded her that today is palm sunday. She was reluctant to leave at first but finally she budge and we went to church in the afternoon.

I can tell you, there was no traffic at all. The street was not as congested as it usually was, we got to church early. I even met my friend old friend. His a classmate who had to stop studying because of some personal problem. Anyway, early on in the mass there was not much people there but in the middle of it people started coming. The Pacquiao - Marquez fight was over.

It was hard to have our palm blessed because of the fact the people were pushing and some were even hurting me. >sigh< It was hard but it's a small sacrifice and it is important for me that have it blessed that's why I pushed through even if the crowd was so restless because of the heat. We were all sweating, imagine that. But in the end we got through and was able to go home with no scrach at all.
