| When death comes knocking
|
|
|
|
Now look, I am not saying death is easy or it isn't a hard experience for the loved ones of the deceased. So calling me insensitve, although probably true, is not what I am intending this time. Feeling grief is normal and to not feel it would be odd if it was someone who truly loved. BUT
I hate it when a person who is in their 70's 80's 90's etc. is suprised that death is around the corner. I shit you not these people not only want to be healed but pray nonstop and their family asks for prayers from strangers as it will prolong it a few more years and then the praying would start again.
Okay, so they love them. Okay, they don't want to die. Okay, they have resorted to asking a cosmic being to skip healing hungry million children dying so he can help grandpa's bad liver. Whatever the case. Stop. Wise up and stop acting like a fool.
It is jacked up because in thir mind god wins anyways. If grammy dies, it was gods will, if grammy lives (for another month or two) he perfomed a miracle.
But to be suprised when an 80 something relative of yours passes, I mean totally taken by suprprise. AND it makes you sad (if you are on the 'them' who think she is in a better place because crying for someone to stay here instead of going to a happy cloud and pretty streets seems pretyy goddamn selfish). Then you are an idiot. Maybe some day you'll wise up, maybe you won't . But today, you are an idiot. |

lmao i saw that... has to be foriegn...same word 'mis-usage' (i think i made that up) every time. either that or she just really likes the word 'were' hahaha
i am in agreement with u on the death thing as well. if u made it that far in life, congrats but u gotta kno that ur time is coming!
funny tho, talking about how they seemingly become so much more into praying etc reminds me of a kid that put off studying for finals & is trying to cram the night before knowing full well it's not gonna help all that much. fox hole anyone?

Jason, I read some of your comments on another person's blog this week and this morning as I posted on one of my other blogs I couldn't get you out of my mind. As I opened this entry of yours I have to wonder if the Lord - who loves you - has brought you to mind. Some of the most ardent followers of Jesus at one time thought they hated him. Jesus was talking to some of those when he told the story I entered today at http://www.bloglines.com/blog/CharlotteMathis.

No need to wonder share. I have to hate to him. I can't hate someone that doesn't exist. I hate the religion behind it. The indoctrination of children and the blocking of science from progressing. The persecution and bigotry of people for thousands of years. But god? No, no hate.
And foxx, I love ya mate
