| Violent Christians |
Picture this: you attend a Bible study at a friend's home. Present were at least 20 people. Three pastors were present- supposed to be working hand in hand. When one pastor failed to accommodate the other pastor's point of view it ended up into a shouting match arguing about authority and experience. They had a captive and shocked audience. The third pastor clung on to his chest, apparently experiencing chest pains. Most of the attendees were senior citizens and some began to shake. They really got scared. One lady took charge and put herself between the hot heads who almost got to the point of punching each other. The lady prompted them to reconcile right there and then. One of them agreed, the other kept his pride. The issue was not resolved. They left the home without extending apologies to the attendees or the host. A total disrespect to all who attended, especially the host.
Men of God are still men. For that reason I understand their temper and loss of self control. But pastors or not, they should be ashamed of their actions. What I don't understand is they didn't seem to have the instinct or common sense to say they're sorry. It doesn't take a degree at harvard to know this simple gesture.
