thats what i call the ring i'm wearing today. i'll have to take a picture of it & post it at some point... i dont kno exactly why i call it that.... i guess it reminds me of a piece of jewelry i saw in a movie or something.... i kno they make actual 'poison rings'...kind of like lockets u wear on ur fingers except they're not meant to hold pictures, but poison or herbal concoctions instead. hahaha cool. i might have to get myself a real one....
so let me start off by saying how excited i am that i'm about to learn portuguese!! (well at least i intend to!) since i started working sat nights at the gym i've had a whole new 'tray of goodies' to flirt with. i focused in on the one i liked best & drew him in quicker than i thought i was going to.... we'll call him Rio (he's Brazilian (almost all of them are! go figure...haha) - YUM!!) body is OH. MY. GOD. lmao and his skills on the field are impressive. i love watching him play. gorgeous smile :o) he is positively adorable!!
i had my eye on him since the first night & was hoping i could get him to come to me. his friend...we'll call him Lion....was on the case first & i thought he was kind cute too but he wound up being the setup. the saturday after my bday i had taken off & when i came back the following sat they asked how it was etc...we talked for a little bit & then they had a game to play & i had work to do. afterwards we talked some more & one of them asked how old i was. i told them to guess & they guessed way younger lmao i asked how old they were & made a joke about them being 'babies' to which one of them took a crack at me about being 'old'.... i jokingly pretended to be offended & walked away as they called after me to come back. there really is only a couple of years difference between our ages but u kno how the maturity level gap goes between guys & girls....hahaha
after their game, rio was standing over with the rest of his teammates with his shirt off!!!!! & i couldn't help but stare in that direction almost the whole game i was currently taking stats for.....when they were about to leave, lion came over to say goodbye....Rio stayed behind & i planned on teasing him the next week about not saying goodbye to me when he put his hand to his mouth & shouted 'bye!' i blew a kiss to him & he blew one back. i knew it wouldn't be long then before he took it further.
this past sat i was behind the front desk when he & lion came in... he waved at me like a little kid & i giggled as i winked & waved back. at half time he was on the sidelines, shirtless again & so i decided to take a walk to the water fountain & casually pass him... as i did he smiled & i smiled back but his attention was quickly averted back to the game as they were about to begin the second half. afterwards i made sure to hang around up front as they were leaving so i could say goodbye & maybe get a chance to talk to him a little. they lost their game by a goal so they weren't in the best of spirits & left kind of quickly but to my surprise as i walked out of the office to go get my stuff from the other room, who walks back into the club but Rio!! he said something to me but i didnt quite understand him (he has a really thick accent)....he repeated it & turns out he was asking if i was going to the party they're having for his bday. i asked when it was - april 30th - & then said 'sure!' gol at one point either he said he had already told me about it or i said he hadn't & we went back & forth... after i said i'd go he pulled out his phone & asked for my number. after he left i got so excited, i had to tell Liv so i ran into the office & proceeded to act like a giggly 12 year old. lmao
he texted me later that night & we've been talking ever since. we made plans to have dinner next saturday. i can't wait!! gol
