man, i have not been keeping up with this at all!! ::tsk tsk:: i swear i've never been so busy in my life!!! this month alone has been insane. the calendar on my blackberry is a blessing & a curse at the same time.
i CANNOT take work today. i'm so done with this place. i keep talking i kno... i need to shut my mouth & just do something about it already....altho i suppose i kind of already am.... i finally recorded a song with BG last week!!! he's got me highly optimistic & hopeful for this music thing....even if i don't wind up getting recognized for my singing, i still have a shot with my writing. we'll see tho... i hate to get my hopes up (tho who am i kidding? they're already thru the roof gol) but u never kno, right?? besides, if i don't believe it will happen, the chance that it will become less. i can definitely see it coming to fruition....not to mention the stuff with Tru.....
speaking of - we have a gig lined up for 6/22!!! i am sooooooo nervous/excited!! we had a final rehearsal yesterday for which i was actually really late.... i left with enough time but forgot i had to get gas, pick up the peaches for grandpa & then i hit traffic getting to the turnpike. i'm just glad i made it at all. i was able to go thru the routine real quick & try on my dress/take it home with me so thats the important part. i love the dress btw!! omg!! the back is so cool!! lol
what else? spent the weekend with Bahia....  friday night we were supposed to go out with juice & anise but there was some kind of issue so we post poned.... bahia & i went out to eat & then went back to his house.....saturday i had my spa day with L & SLJ!!! it was soooo awesome!! i was actually on time & i beat both of them there!! so cool! hahaha i got a facial & a pedicure.... i can't wait to go back again. pedicures are the greatest thing in the world! lol and the facial was amazing.... there's a longer 'full' version of the one i got that i am soooooo going back there for....along with a new 'coconut lime' pedi! what!!?!?!? lol after the spa we went to lunch -- so much fun! :o)
saturday night i went to see the hulk with bahia. we were planning on getting up early sunday to go to the beach but it wound up pouring so we just stayed in & relaxed. went to my rehearsal & then over to see daddy & grandpa for father's day....i actually made it to dinner cuz rehearsal was only an hour instead of two so it worked out perfectly. yay!!! gol
Goddess works in mysterious ways i'll tell u.... bitching about being here today & she threw me a nice little 'mental break' in the form of reception. i have to start paying more attention to what i ask her for.
on that note as well....BG signed a contract with a label for production & they are going to have him working out of miami... he said that he's going to be flying me out there as well to do some work. how friggin awesome is that!?!?!? of course i'm always suspicious & i trust no one...but still... so far i have no reason not to believe him.
along that line, SLJ is going to the Keys in July.... i might tag along if i can manage the vacation time and dough for a flight....

CONFESSION: i walked right past my mother w/o saying a word on fri night as Bahia & I walked into the diner

CONFESSION: i should not have spent as much as i did in FL (probably shouldn't have gone at all)
CONFESSION: i ate far too much at dinner yesterday
CONFESSION: i miss juice
CONFESSION: i thought about 'badman' while i was with Bahia
CONFESSION: flirting is one of my addictions & i don't kno how to stop but i don't really want to
CONFESSION: i smoked a cig on saturday....and 2 yesterday...and i plan on having one today
GOAL: finish song with BG tomorrow night
GOAL: kick ass in class tonight
GOAL: train hard tomorrow with carlton
GOAL: play in the roda at the portuguese festival
GOAL: be able to do a back flip by xmas
GOAL: lose 10 lbs
GOAL: go food shopping regularly & start eating 'clean' again
GOAL: get rid of the job i'm at asap
GOAL: pay off my car asap
GOAL: pay down all of my debt
GOAL: clear my skin up for good
GOAL: get regular pedicures
GOAL: stay loyal to Bahia (eventually.....)
that last one..... first of all, loyalty has NEVER been an issue for me.... secondly, we still haven't made it 'official' verbally.... third, i'm just not done yet... i can't help it. there are so many guys out there.... and some of them are so freakin hot!! how can i pass that up?? it's not fair. granted i'm learning that character & personality hardly ever follow the hotter ones which is a damn shame... but i suppose that's how it works? i hate to stereotype...tho this is more of an experiential |
